The Fall of an Empire
Cyprans are green, blue or purple humanoids native to the Terbur Wilds. They have domed, black, multi-faceted eyes, pebbly skin, two short antennae and a slightly elongated snout. Their skin is mostly rubbery but covered in pebbly lumps.
The Cyprans are a warlike people and most belong to a clan. These clans often feud among each other as well as neighboring Burflogs and Brelbrorbs. A Cypran is usually very loyal to their clan but recently, there has been a spike in Cyprans that abandon their clan—which labels them an outcast and criminal—for a life of smuggling illicit goods or other crimes. Many outcast Cyprans wish to bring themselves personal glory, rather than bringing glory to their clan. Because of this, they will hunt down dangerous criminals and beasts to gain a reputation.
A Cypran’s large eyes allow it to see better at night than most, as well as being able to see in the infrared spectrum. Their elongated snouts filter out toxins in the air to survive the poison-spitting mosses and algaes in the Terbur. Due to their usually green coloring, many Cypran clans specialize in guerilla attacks and ambushes. Cypran pores produce a thin, oily fluid that coats the skin and protects against insects and poisonous plants. This fluid is pungent to other races, but attractive and stimulating to other Cyprans.
